Last week, DeRace announced the closure of a remarkably oversubscribed private sale round at 1.7M, backed by many reputed VC investors. Soon, the DeRace team will launch an SHO on DAO Maker on 26th July 2021. Today, let’s see what next steps DeRace will take by looking at our timeline.
Q3/ 2021
- DeRace Coin launch IDO

In this quarter, DeRace largely focuses on completing the platform’s technical aspects. The team is working hard to develop 3D models and other technical elements that will be released for user experience testing. Advisors will be brought in during this time for technical consultation.
Most importantly, during this period, players can already pre-order their first versions of NFT horses, as all the horse features will soon be published.

In this period, two of the most important features of DeRace — horse breeding and horse racing — will be released. Players can start making profit from the platform through these two activities. User wallets will also be integrated into each account.
Q1–2/ 2022
- Full platform launch
- Additional NFT horse items launch

- Hippodromes launch
- Direct DeRace coin purchase on the platform
- Direct DeRace coin purchase with FIAT currency
This is an important period when DeRace will actualize almost all of the platform’s features that are promised on the whitepaper. The platform will be fully launched with all horse features. Especially, hippodromes will be available for hosting races. The DeRace native token ($DERC) mechanism will be augmented with permission of direct purchases with FIAT currencies on the platform.
Q3–4/ 2022
- Betting launch
- DeRace mobile app for iOS and Android
- Ads services integration
- Expansion for external crypto casinos
- Integrations with external platforms and other wallets
This is the last development stage planned on the whitepaper so far. Players who are attracted to DeRace by its innovative function of race betting will be able to start earning profit from betting on their favorite horses. Other additional features such as crypto casinos, ads services will also be introduced during this period.
