Activity badges and game achievements 🎖
This week we have been working on the logic for the activity reward system which will include activity badges and game achievement trophies.
These rewards will be given to the players as per DeRace2Earn model for engaging in various in-game activities. The player will have to reach a major milestone to earn a badge or achievement trophy which will also grant additional rewards such as in-game utility NFTs.
The more active you are, the higher the reward! 😉
🐎 Race creation mechanism: version 2
Few days ago we released an update that will ensure smooth creation of the races.
We have changed the way race creation mechanism interacts with and registers on the blockchain. This ensures that we will always get a single confirmation about race creation thus eliminating race info overwrites or race entry duplication which were creating problems before.
This will improve race creation stability when there are blockchain interferences.

🏁 3rd DeRace hippodrome: turf surface
To bring our races closer to the real world we are increasing the size of our hippodrome with a turf surface!
Increased the size of the hippodrome means longer races. The more variety in hippodrome sizes, the more realistic they feel! We also have been working on upgrading the hippodrome design to improve the racecourse environment.
🎈 1 $DERC Mondays
Mondays have never been so fun! Starting from the next week we are introducing a new event: 1 $DERC Mondays.
Test your horses on different surfaces and various track lengths to find the track that your horse performs the best on! On Mondays entry fee for the races will be 1 $DERC.
This will also be a great way for the new players to join the DeRace metaverse if they have acquired an NFT horse which hasn’t been raced yet.
