Another week — another Friday Development Update. Still can’t believe 10 weeks have already passed since we started it!🤯 Time really flies, doesn’t it?
This week was an intensive one for DeRace with 2 BIG NFT horse sales and all the in-betweens.
So let’s take a look at what our development team has been up to this whole week! 👀
NFT Hippodromes
Many new NFT horse owners have already noticed our updated 3D viewer on the horse explorer section of DeRace website. Now you can inspect the beauty that you own in the natural environment — hippodrome. It’s a first glance at how the hippodrome will look on the DeRace ecosystem.
You can switch to day or night mode depending on the website theme you’ve chosen. In the game, it will depend on the time of the day. How exciting 🤩 Our team prefers the dark mode, how about you?
As we have finished the modeling and sketching part, game developers are already working on the visual parts of hippodromes and we’re hoping to share the first glance into the in-game hippodrome in a few weeks!
New NFT horse features
Even though we just launched our NFT horses we are already upgrading them to ensure a seamless gaming experience in the future! Our game designers are working on adding more visual features such as new coats. We will share even more of the new horse looks very shortly!

Running, rearing, galloping, pawing… game designers are also working on various new animations of the NFT horses so they would resemble real-life ones even more!
DeRace NFT horse ticket exchange
As NFT horse ticket owners are excited to see their new horses, our development team is currently focusing on making that happen.
Good news to the NFT horse ticket owners, you won’t have to wait too long!
DeRace developers are working hard to let you withdraw your horses very soon. So it won’t be long until you will be able to see your new DeRace NFT horses! Stay tuned for further announcements about the ticket exchange.
NFT horse shop
This week our developers have launched the NFT horse shop and debuted smart contracts that powered the horse sale on Thursday. It was the very first test run for our native NFT horse shop and it has provided some important information for the future updates required. It is very important for us to test it in action since we will be using all the insights for the upcoming creation of the in-game Marketplace.
