The DeRace team has been hard at work, and as another week comes to an end, it’s time to saddle up and take a ride through the progress we’ve made. Join us on this weekly round-up! 🐎🌟

🥞 DERC-USDT Pair on PancakeSwap

Change is the only constant, and in the ever-evolving world of crypto, adaptability is key. When Binance decided to take a detour with its $BUSD products, we didn’t miss a beat.

We have just introduced a new DERC-USDT pair on Pancakeswap, to comply with Binance’s decision to gradually cease support for their $BUSD products. And while we retire the late DERC-BUSD pair, the new DERC-USDT pair on BNB Chain takes the center stage.

Our commitment remains — ensuring our community has the best, most efficient tools at their fingertips. This isn’t just a switch, it’s more of a strategic leap forward.

✨ Perfecting the Platform

Our undying passion to deliver the ultimate DeRace experience to our community fuels our drive every week. This time around, we’re zeroing in on refining the platform to its peak of performance.

The DeRace team has been on a mission, combing through every line of our platform’s code, making sure it doesn’t just meet the standards but raises the bar. The goal? To ensure every interaction you have with DeRace is responsive, robust, and remarkably smooth. By giving the code a well-deserved overhaul, we aim to reduce potential bottlenecks and guarantee the most streamlined experience possible.

Every line of code we optimised, every redundant process we eliminated, brings us one step closer to perfection. While perfection takes time, we’re ecstatic to reveal that significant strides have been made. So saddle up and enjoy the upgraded ride, while we’re doing all the heavy lifting in the back(-end)!

🏆 Tournaments

While building tournaments is exciting, we firmly believe in the old saying, “Measure twice, cut once.” We’re not just doing a quick run-through — we’re scrutinizing every corner, poking at every potential pitfall. Because, honestly, who likes unwelcome surprises? Not us.

The internal testing for tournaments has appeared to have been nothing short of a roller coaster — thrilling, a bit nerve-wracking, but absolutely necessary.

We’ve pinpointed a few areas of improvement, and our enthusiastic dev team is eager to start working on them next week! After all, we’re making sure that when you enter a tournament, it’s not just about the thrill of competition but also about the seamless experience. Our main mission: to deliver a feature that is as polished as a jockey’s boots!

Practice (or in our case, testing) makes perfect! So buckle up, because when we’re done with our backstage tweaks, these tournaments are going to be the stuff of legends.

⚒️ Internal Race Control Terminal

In our relentless pursuit of perfection, the DeRace team has recently taken our race management mechanics to new heights. Our existing Race Control Center has been the backbone of our operations, but like any great team, we’re always on the hunt for improvements. This week, we’re excited to share that our Race Control Center has undergone a significant upgrade!

Though this feature has been with us for a while, our code master Kristis has given it a full makeover this week. Now, the enhanced system offers us a more granular control, allowing the adjustments for all types of races: equipment and non-equipment. Whether we’re tailoring a large-scale tournament or tweaking daily races, the center’s adaptability ensures every event is honed to perfection. Plus, the revised capability to modulate percentage distributions for various equipment race brackets ensures a harmonious and exhilarating race balance.

But wait, there’s more! Beyond the thrill of races and competitions, this terminal acts as a central hub for our team. With it, we can rapidly delve into race data over specified durations, accelerating our winner selection process. Even though this tool remains behind the scenes, its enhancements are crucial to our commitment to deliver the most thrilling racing experience for the DeRace community.
