🏆 Tournaments
Last week’s internal testing was really intense and highlighted some areas in need for refinement. And so, without further ado, our devs got down to business making necessary modifications.
One key highlight was the enhancement in the tournament logic flow. We delved deep into the backend infrastructure, ensuring that the mechanics underpinning each tournament operate smoothly and efficiently.
But that’s not all! Knowing how critical an intuitive interface is, we’ve introduced an updated UX/UI for the tournament section. Clarity, responsiveness, and visual appeal were our top priorities, and we’re sure that these changes will lead to a more immersive gaming experience.
Ultimately, we want your gaming experience to be free of any glitches and as seamless as possible.
🏅 Leaderboards
This week DeRace team has revisited the development of the much-anticipated Leaderboard feature. As we have already completed the majority of the feature from the backend side, what is left is to finalize the NFT horse stats collection for the absolute leaders of all times.
Once completed, this option will gather all the necessary information from our database of all races, and automatically compile the list of best horses of all times. These champion horses then will be showcased on our platform for all the other players to see.
The leaderboard feature is automatically updated, so it is possible that another champion might steal the place of the previous leaders. Make sure to keep your horse active to maintain your placing!
🛍 Marketplace
We’re on the brink of introducing something special — our in-game marketplace. As we gear up for its grand launch, our team has been tirelessly working behind the scenes to ensure it stands out. Recently we’ve been working on the filtering mechanism for the upcoming DeRace marketplace.
We integrated new filters, designed to streamline the process of searching and discovering items, making it more intuitive and efficient for our players. Once operational, you can swiftly pinpoint the exact NFT assets you’re looking for, using a variety of specific search parameters.

Every millisecond matters, especially in the DeRace metaverse. Recognizing this, we took a hard look at our platform’s performance metrics. The horse viewer, a crucial component, came under the spotlight.
A significant step we took was in migrating the horse viewer. This strategic move was designed with one thing in mind: to improve the page load times. But why is this important? Faster load times mean less waiting and more racing for our players. It’s not just about speed; it’s also about enhancing the overall quality of your interaction with our platform.
Our developers keep working hard and continue to enhance and optimize the DeRace experience for all of our community.
