It’s Friday again and it means only one thing: time for the weekly DeRace development update!🥳

🏅Leaderboards

This week we revisited the highly anticipated Leaderboard feature and picked up from where we left off.

Continuing from the completion of the backend infrastructure for the Leaderboards, we’re now focusing on integrating these with the front-end interface. This integration is key to ensuring that the Leaderboards are not only functional but also visually appealing and easy to navigate for our users. The Leaderboards are an important feature as they provide a platform for our community to track achievements and compete with one another in a dynamic and interactive environment.

These leaderboards are designed to foster a sense of achievement and recognition among players. We believe that the introduction of the Leaderboards will infuse an additional level of thrill and competitive spirit into the game. 🏇 Race Intro

Step by step our Race Intro feature is coming along as our team of dedicated game designers and developers are working together to provide you the best possible experience!

After beginning the preliminary integration of the Game Intro into the game flow last week, we’ve now moved into the testing phase. This step is crucial as it allows us to ensure that the introduction is not just visually engaging but also smoothly transitions into the gameplay. Our devs are scrutinizing every aspect to guarantee that the Game Intro enhances the overall experience without any disruptions.

This feature is designed to elevate the anticipation and excitement right before the race begins, providing a cinematic and immersive start that sets the tone for the action ahead. So keep an eye out for further updates as we keep building and working on it.

👥 Teams/clubs

This week, we’ve made significant progress in designing the team page for our Teams/Clubs feature. This aspect of our development is focused on creating a user-friendly and interactive interface, facilitating easier management and engagement within teams and clubs. The design phase is critical as it lays the foundation for the functionality and aesthetics of this community-centric feature.

We believe that strong community ties are the backbone of a great gaming experience, and this feature is a step towards strengthening those bonds. Our goal is to create a page where team members can strategize, challenge other teams, onboard new members, celebrate their achievements, trophies and view the lists of team members, horses and much more!

By ensuring that the team page is intuitive and comprehensive, we’re setting the stage for enhanced social interaction and collaboration within the DeRace community.

🔮 Ancestral Fortune Races

We’re thrilled to announce that the Ancestral Fortune Race event has been finalized and is set to launch next week!

The trial month was an intense period of gathering feedback and fine-tuning the mechanics based on community response. A major update, driven by your feedback, is the streamlining and improvement of the registration process. It’s now more straightforward to register for events directly on our platform. Recognizing the importance of a smooth user experience, we are dedicated to providing exactly that.

There’s more — we’ve standardized the distance for both Qualifiers and Finals, increased the number of horses per wallet allowed in the Qualifiers (you can now register up to 3 horses instead of just 1!), and, importantly, we’ve boosted the prize pool! But one thing hasn’t changed — the exclusivity for Gen0 to enter the event and win awesome prizes!
