Following our initial testing phase, the Silks Creator underwent additional testing this week. This phase was focused on refining the tool’s functionality and user experience, addressing any issues identified in the earlier tests. Our team paid particular attention to the tool’s responsiveness and overall integration with the DeRace platform.
This additional testing is crucial in ensuring that the Silks Creator is a robust and reliable tool. It’s about getting the details right, from the ease of designing silks to ensuring that the custom designs are accurately represented in the game environment.
We’re committed to delivering a feature that is both enjoyable to use and enhances the visual appeal of the race.
👥 Teams/clubs
In an exciting development this week at DeRace, our teams and clubs feature is nearing its test-net launch. The focus has been on fine-tuning the UX/UI.
Our dev team has worked on backend stability and frontend aesthetics, ensuring seamless integration and functionality. This process is crucial for a smooth transition to the test-net.
By now have successfully created a solid framework for the basic functionalities of this feature. This includes key operations like creating a team/club, adding/rejecting members, applying to the team and viewing the team’s page. In the upcoming weeks, our focus will be on expanding this feature and its functionalities, and conducting thorough testing to ensure a seamless experience for all participants.

An integral part of this week at DeRace involved actively collecting and reviewing community feedback.
We’ve engaged in constructive dialogues with DeRace community groups, including DERCArmy and DeRacers. This interaction has been crucial in gathering insightful feedback directly from those who know our platform best — our players. This week, our developers dedicated time to perform the essential periodical health check of the DeRace platform.
Regular health checks are fundamental to our maintenance strategy, allowing us to identify and proactively address potential issues, ensuring they don’t escalate into major problems for our players.
In line with the findings of our health check, we conducted a short period of platform maintenance. This maintenance included applying crucial database updates, aimed at enhancing the overall system performance. These updates are part of our ongoing efforts to optimize the platform’s functionality, ensuring we consistently meet our high standards of quality and reliability.
