We’re in the final stages of testing a significant expansion to Sugar Cubes utility — the ability to purchase Spin-the-Wheel spins using Sugar Cubes. This new utility offers players more opportunities to leverage their Sugar Cubes for exciting rewards, adding depth to the game’s strategic elements.
Currently our team is focused on ensuring its seamless integration into the DeRace ecosystem, and adding value to Sugar Cubes as an exciting in-game reward.
🎮 Free Trial Mode
Following a week of inner testing, our team has moved on to the optimization phase for the Free Trial Mode. This period of evaluation was important in highlighting specific areas within the Free Trial Mode that could be enhanced to better meet the needs of new users.
Our dev team has been focused on refining user interface elements, streamlining navigation paths, and ensuring that instructions within the trial are clear and intuitive. This optimization process is crucial not only for improving user experience but also for ensuring that potential players can fully appreciate the depth and excitement of DeRace without unnecessary hurdles.
We aim to make the initial engagement with the game as seamless and engaging as possible, in order to convert curious newcomers into active, long-term players. As this feature comes to live, we anticipate it to be a welcoming and appealing entry point into the DeRace metaverse for all players.
👥 Teams/Clubs
Responding to community feedback, our team has initiated the development of Team Leaderboards for the Teams/Clubs feature. This enhancement is aimed at expanding the Teams/Clubs feature, allowing teams to track their performance and achievements against others in the community.
Our back-end maestro, Kristis, has started developing the back-end logic for the Team Leaderboards. This feature will not only serve as a motivational tool for teams but also enhance the social and competitive aspects of the game.
This development aligns with our goals of deepening the game’s social features and offering players new avenues for recognition and rivalry. 🔥 NFT burn rates
We are on the brink of implementing recalculated NFT asset burning rates, an update designed to foster a more sustainable ecosystem within DeRace. These new rates promise to introduce a more balanced Sugar Cube economy, a more rewarding NFT burning mechanism, and contribute to a more sustainable NFT supply.
NFT asset burn for Sugar Cubes recalibration was carried out with an analysis of the in-game economy, ensuring that these changes benefit the community by enhancing the overall gameplay experience while maintaining economic health.
By making the NFT burning mechanism more attractive and economically rewarding, we encourage players to engage more deeply with the game’s asset management features.
