🚀 Transition to zkRace
This week marks a huge milestone for our project as DeRace officially transitions to zkRace, starting a new era of GameFi powered by our groundbreaking zk-rollup technology.
The transformation into zkRace marks our evolution from merely a game to a robust infrastructure supporting diverse gaming experiences and advanced blockchain functions. The launch of $ZERC, succeeding $DERC, introduces an additional layer of security and utility for our native token. Following the token swap, we’ll implement a new bridge and introduce fresh staking farms.
This strategic shift allows us to offer a broader range of services and experiences, enhancing user engagement and opening up new avenues for growth and innovation within the gaming community. By integrating zk-rollup technology, zkRace ensures faster transactions, reduced gas fees, and a scalable environment that can accommodate a growing user base without compromising on speed or security.
🎮 Free Trial Mode
This week our dev team’s focus has shifted to optimizing the performance of the Free Trial Mode. The primary goal of these efforts is to identify and resolve any potential issues that could hinder a new user’s experience or bugs that could disrupt gameplay. These optimizations are crucial for ensuring that first-time players have a seamless and enjoyable introduction to zkRace.
We also have been refining various aspects of the Free Trial Mode to enhance its performance across different devices and platforms. Adjustments have been made to improve the responsiveness of the game interface and to streamline the navigation process, making it more intuitive for new players to engage with the game’s features.
By enhancing the technical foundations of this mode, we aim to boost user retention rates and ensure that new players’ first interactions with zkRace are positive and encouraging.
🏇 Web enhancement
Coinciding with our rebrand to zkRace, we have launched a new website that embodies the dynamic and innovative spirit of our expanded gaming ecosystem. This revamped website is not just a portal to our game but a comprehensive resource for both new and existing players to explore all that zkRace has to offer.
With a fresh, modern design and improved user interface, the new website enhances user experience, providing easier access to essential information and features.
The new website design emphasizes the thrill and excitement of horse racing while also providing easy navigation and detailed information about our new Layer 2 zk-rollup Validium solution and the $ZERC utility. The site is now more intuitive, making it easier for both newcomers and long-term players to find the information they need and dive deeper into what makes zkRace a revolutionary platform in the GameFi industry.
💰 Single-sided staking for $ZERC
As we are coming closer to $DERC to $ZERC token swap, significant back-end preparations are underway to ensure a seamless swap experience for our users. This week, we have been finalizing the technical aspects of the new single-staking contract.
The new single-sided staking will function similarly to the previous setup, with the key difference being the transition from $DERC to $ZERC tokens. Users will stake $ZERC to earn Liquid Love NFTs. Importantly, the progress from previous staking activities with $DERC will seamlessly transfer to the new farm with $ZERC, ensuring a smooth transition for all users. Rest assured, we’ve made the process straightforward and user-friendly.
