Another week has come to an end with the zkRace team accomplishing a number of milestones throughout it.

🏆 Additional Rewards for Equipment Races
This week we introduced an exciting new reward mechanism for our Equipment Races, aimed at making these races even more attractive and rewarding for participants.
This feature will allow us to add $ZERC tokens, Sugar Cubes or any in-game NFTs as rewards for participants. For a limited time of one week (starting from 06–13), every participant in Equipment Races will receive 10 Sugar Cubes. Additional rewards for Equipment Races will be adjusted in the future.
The introduction of Sugar Cube rewards is significant for our community as it offers immediate, tangible incentives for participating in Equipment Races. This not only enhances player engagement but also adds more depth and strategy to the gameplay, encouraging continuous participation in zkRace.
🎮 Free Trial Mode
We are excited to announce that the Free Trial Mode for zkRace is getting closer to its release!
This week we began community testing for select zkRace community members. Community testing is a crucial step in ensuring that the Free Trial Mode runs smoothly and provides an engaging experience for all users.
After community testing, we will gather feedback and work on fixing issues and implementing community suggestions. This iterative process ensures that the Free Trial Mode not only meets but exceeds player expectations, creating a polished and enjoyable experience for all users. By incorporating community input, we aim to deliver a feature that will truly reflect zkRace spirit and help onboard new players with no hassle.
🔗 Cross-Chain solution
Following last week’s successful testing of our cross-chain solution, we are now focused on resolving identified issues and optimizing the system. This solution will allow users to deposit $ZERC and use it in-game across multiple networks, including Polygon, Binance Smart Chain, and Ethereum. This enhancement is set to significantly expand our platform’s accessibility and usability.
Technically, the cross-chain solution involves complex integrations to ensure seamless and secure token transfers across different blockchain networks. We are optimizing the bridge infrastructure to handle high volumes of transactions efficiently, ensuring that the user experience remains smooth and reliable.
The cross-chain solution is crucial for zkRace as it enhances the flexibility and reach of $ZERC. By enabling cross-chain functionality, we are making it easier for users from various blockchain ecosystems to participate in zkRace. This not only increases the token’s utility but also fosters a robust gaming community, driving broader adoption and engagement.
🐴 Ancestry Rewards
This week we have finalized the logic for the Ancestry Rewards feature which will allow horse NFT owners to earn additional $ZERC tokens from the subsequent horse generations. This feature is set to give more utility to NFT horses and incentivize breeding within the zkRace ecosystem, adding a new layer of strategy and value for horse owners.
Our dev team has been finalizing general logic for the Ancestry Rewards’ mechanics: more specifically which horses will be rewarded, how and when. This phase involves ensuring that the logic for reward distribution is sound and that rewards are distributed fairly.
With Ancestry Rewards, we will be adding long-term value to NFT horse owners and promoting a sustainable, rewarding and dynamic ecosystem.
