This week, we launched the zkRace Race Intro feature, designed to enhance the viewing experience by showcasing NFT horses, Jockeys, and their stats before each race.
This addition allows players to flaunt their team and sponsors’ logos on jockey silks, making the races visually more appealing and engaging, especially for streaming and viewer interaction. Technically, this feature required integrating real-time data feeds and ensuring seamless display of content without impacting the race performance.
The Race Intro feature is vital for creating a more immersive and engaging experience for both players and viewers. 🐴 Ancestry Rewards
Our development team is currently focused on building the back-end infrastructure for Ancestry Rewards, a feature that will reward owners of horses’ ancestors from breeding fees.
This involves setting up complex data tracking systems to ensure accurate and fair distribution of rewards based on generational lineage.
The Ancestry Rewards system is crucial for incentivizing long-term participation in zkRace. By rewarding owners who have held and bred their horses over multiple generations, we aim to foster a growing and engaged community.
🏟 Community-Owned Hippodromes
zkRace team has been revisiting the highly anticipated Community-Owned Hippodromes feature and updating it to ensure compatibility with our newly released features.
This involves revising the back-end codebase and updating the user interfaces to seamlessly integrate with these new functionalities. Technically, this requires a comprehensive review and refactoring of existing systems to align with the latest developments.
With the updates to the community-owned hippodromes nearing completion, we are excited to move this feature to the test-net next week for thorough testing and optimization.

With each day we are getting closer and closer to the Free Trial Mode launch!
Continuing from last week’s efforts, we have been making significant advancements in implementing community’s feedback in Free Trial Mode. Our team has focused on completing all the essential bug fixes as well as adding a few nice-to-have additions suggested by our testers.
The Free Trial Mode is an important part of our strategy to attract new players, offering them a chance to explore zkRace mechanics, earn rewards, and build confidence before fully committing to the game.
