🎮 Free Trial Mode
With each day, we are getting closer to the Free Trial Mode launch!
Continuing our efforts, this week our team has focused on adjusting the zkRace in-game features in Free Trial Mode to ensure a seamless user experience, making it easier for users to navigate without getting misled by certain functionalities.
Specifically, we have disabled options such as NFT burn and withdrawal to prevent confusion for new users. This adjustment ensures that players can explore zkRace mechanics, earn rewards, and build confidence before fully committing to the game.
By simplifying the user interface and removing potentially misleading features, we aim to provide a smooth and intuitive onboarding process for all new players.
💰 Ancestry Rewards
This week, our team has finalized the Ancestry Rewards payouts system, after discussions with our community advisors — zkRacers.
Currently, breeding fees consist solely of a System fee, fixed at 50 $ZERC. With the introduction of Ancestry Rewards, an additional Ancestral fee will be included. The Ancestral fee will increase by 10 $ZERC with each subsequent generation.
The Ancestral fee will then be distributed among the ancestors of the breeding pair, ensuring that every generation benefits from the breeding activities of their descendants.

🏇 Jockeys
This week, we’ve also been updating the in-game logic for Jockeys to ensure compatibility with new features.
This includes revising how Jockeys interact with horses, races and other recently released features. It also means refining the data structures and logic flows to accommodate new functionalities and ensure seamless integration with the rest of the game.
By ensuring that jockeys are compatible with new features, we enhance the depth and complexity of the game, providing players with a more immersive and rewarding experience.
🐴 Gen 1 Breeding
Gen 1 horses, your breeding season is coming!
In preparation for the upcoming launch of Gen 1 breeding, this week we’ve been working on the back-end infrastructure to support this new feature, ensuring it aligns seamlessly with the Ancestry Rewards system.
This infrastructure is crucial not only for Gen 1 but also for future generations of horse breeding. Together with the Gen 1 horse breeding, we’ll also release the Ancestry Rewards, incentivizing players to maintain and breed their horses over multiple generations. Stay tuned!
