🎮 Free Trial Mode
We’re getting so close to the launch of Free Trial Mode!
zkRace dev team is in the final stages of developing the Free Trial Mode, a feature designed to provide new players with a seamless and enjoyable introduction to zkRace. This week, our team focused on polishing the user interface, resolving any remaining bugs, and ensuring that the trial mode offers a smooth onboarding experience.
Technically, finalizing the Free Trial Mode involved extensive testing and optimization. Our developers worked on refining the user interface to make it intuitive and user-friendly, ensuring that new players can easily navigate the game mechanics. We also did a lot of testing to ensure that everything works smoothly.
The Free Trial Mode is vital for zkRace’s growth strategy, as it lowers the barrier to entry for new players and helps them build confidence and familiarity with zkRace, encouraging them to transition smoothly into the full game.
🏟 Community-owned hippodromes
This week, we have been testing the compatibility of Community-Owned Hippodromes with the new features, such as Challenge Races, Tournaments, and Custom Races. Our goal is to ensure that all transactions work smoothly and reach users without any issues.
Our team focused on verifying transaction accuracy, ensuring that rewards and entries are correctly processed. This required close monitoring and adjustment of back-end systems to handle the increased complexity and interaction between features.

🏆 Tournaments
This week, we launched an exciting upgrade to our Tournament feature, introducing mixed-length stages.
Each tournament stage can now vary in length, opening endless opportunities for event organizers and providing more variety and excitement for players. This enhancement can be paired with the recently released Tournaments V3, which added 2 new tournament types, further expanding the possibilities for dynamic and engaging events.
This new addition is set to attract more participants to the Tournaments, fostering an engaged and competitive community.
🐴 Gen 1 breeding
Our team continues to make progress on developing the back-end infrastructure for Gen 1 breeding, a critical feature that aligns with the Ancestry Rewards system.
This week, we focused on ensuring that the infrastructure is scalable and robust, capable of supporting the complex breeding mechanics and reward distributions. zkRace developers are working on optimizing database management and ensuring real-time processing capabilities.
Building the Gen 1 breeding infrastructure is essential for the long-term sustainability of the zkRace ecosystem.
