🌉 $ZERC bridge

This week, we worked on setting up a bridge to enable the ZERC token on the Base network. This bridge will add flexibility and scalability to the zkRace ecosystem as $ZERC will be available on 4 chains. With this development, we are preparing zkRace to operate cross-chain and offer more dynamic in-game experiences.

This development will broaden ZERC’s reach, attracting new players and expanding zkRace’s presence across multiple Web3 platforms. By allowing ZERC to operate on a fourth network, this bridge increases the token’s utility and appeal, making it easier for players from various blockchain ecosystems to join zkRace.

This also opens up more opportunities for collaborations, cross-chain events, and listings. As a result, zkRace will gain more visibility and engage with a larger and more diverse Web3 audience, boosting overall growth and participation.

🐴 Horse NFT staking

We’ve made significant progress on the Horse NFT Staking feature by connecting the front-end user interface with the back-end system.

This is a major step towards making the staking feature fully operational. Our full-stack dev Gytis aligned the user interface with the back-end logic that manages staking rewards and asset tracking. The connection between the front-end and back-end is crucial for the staking feature, as it ensures a seamless experience for players. In the upcoming weeks, we’ll conduct testing to ensure that transactions and rewards flow seamlessly between the front-end and back-end, minimizing the chance of errors or delays in reward distribution.

By finalizing the connection between the front-end and back-end, we are laying the groundwork for a feature that will increase engagement and utility for players, offering new ways to interact with their assets and earn rewards as well as give more utility to all horses in the zkRace metaverse.

📧 Ethermail Widget integration

We integrated the EtherMail widget into our platform, making it easy for players to join the zkRace newsletter. Now, users can subscribe to zkRace newsletter via EtherMail widget using their email or their wallet address, directly on our platform, gaining access to important updates, sneak peeks, and exclusive rewards. This new integration ensures secure, encrypted Web3 communication.

Our dev team has connected EtherMail widget with zkRace’s user interface, allowing for real-time email and wallet verification. This process was designed to be simple, ensuring a seamless experience for users subscribing to the newsletter without any hassle.

This integration is a key step in growing our community and keeping players informed. It enables us to strengthen our connection with users through secure, direct communication, fostering a more engaged and active community. Players can now easily stay updated with all things zkRace!

🚀 Migration to Base

This week we also have been continuing preparations to migrate zkRace to the Base network, ensuring a smooth and seamless transition. The migration will allow zkRace to operate cross-chain, expanding scalability and providing more opportunities for players without disrupting their current gameplay.

We’re reviewing and adjusting the system architecture to ensure it supports cross-chain transactions efficiently. Our goal is to make this transition seamless, meaning no inconvenience or downtime for players as we migrate to Base. The system will also be optimized to handle cross-chain transactions securely.

This migration to Base is an important event for zkRace, as it positions the platform to grow in new markets while offering players more flexibility in how they use their assets. This transition will also lay the foundation for future events, integrations, and collaborations, further solidifying zkRace as a leading player in the Web3 gaming space.
