zkRace Weekly Racing Schedule is coming to the platform!
This new feature will allow users to view all of the week’s racing events and tournaments directly on the zkRace website, making it more accessible and easier to follow. The schedule will be located on the races page, ensuring that players can stay informed about upcoming events in one central location.
Weekly event schedules directly on the platform will enable players to plan their participation in advance, ensuring they don’t miss key events or tournaments. It also increases engagement by providing a more organized overview of activities, making it easier for users to stay connected and actively participate in the zkRace ecosystem.
🏇 Race Control Center
This week, we made improvements to the Race Control Center, making it easier for team members to access essential data like unique horse IDs and track how many races each horse has participated in by date. This update is crucial for our internal processes, allowing us to quickly gather data for events, promotions, and marketing activities.
Our back-end dev, Kristis, enhanced the database queries and dashboard display to ensure that all relevant information is easily accessible and organized for the rest of the team to use. The system is designed to streamline operations and provide real-time insights into race activity, which is particularly useful for tracking performance during events and ensuring accurate reporting.
These updates will improve efficiency, enabling the zkRace team to plan and manage events more effectively. With easier access to key data, we can create better-targeted campaigns and provide more engaging content for the community.
🐴 Horse NFT staking
This week, we made significant progress on integrating the back-end system with the front-end interface for the Horse NFT Staking feature. This crucial step involves connecting the visual components of the staking platform with the underlying logic that processes all staking actions.
Our development team has focused on making the user interface intuitive and responsive, so players can easily navigate staking options, track their rewards, and manage their assets. While the back-end has been optimized to handle the high volume of transactions and ensure the security and efficiency of all staking activities.
This development is essential for the successful launch of the Horse Retirement system. Once completed, players will have an exciting new way to engage with their NFTs, earning rewards through staking.
🚀 Migration to Base
We made further progress this week in finalizing the smart contracts for $ZERC deposits and withdrawals on the Base network on the zkRace platform. This feature will allow users to seamlessly transfer their $ZERC tokens between zkRace and Base, enhancing the cross-chain functionality of the token.
The technical focus has been on testing and validating the smart contracts to ensure they work securely and efficiently. Our team is verifying the transaction logic and ensuring that all transfers are recorded accurately on the transaction history. This process involves rigorous testing to guarantee that there are no issues with token deposits and withdrawals.
Once live, this addition will be a game-changer for $ZERC holders, providing more flexibility and expanding the token’s use across different blockchain ecosystems, increasing the overall utility of $ZERC.
