🚀 zkRace on Base
We’re in the final stage of testing $ZERC deposits and withdrawals on Base, moving us closer to launch.
With this update, players will soon be able to use their $ZERC on Base within the game just as they currently do with $ZERC on Polygon. This means zkRace will support $ZERC deposits and withdrawals on both Polygon and Base.
Completing this integration will expand the $ZERC token’s reach within the zkRace ecosystem, offering players more flexibility and freedom to manage assets across networks.
🎁 zkRace Chests
Work continues on the back-end logic for bulk Chest openings, which will allow players to open multiple Chests simultaneously, streamlining the reward-claiming process. The new functionality addresses user feedback for a faster and more efficient Chest-opening experience.
Creating bulk Chest-opening logic involves building a scalable process that can handle numerous items without impacting server performance. Each Chest opened in bulk will need to accurately display rewards and reflect them in players’ inventories without delay. Our team has prioritized ensuring data consistency so that every reward is correctly logged and distributed in real time.
This feature will significantly improve the player experience by making Chest openings quicker and more convenient, encouraging players to engage more frequently. By reducing wait times, we’re also enhancing gameplay flow and making zkRace more enjoyable for users who accumulate multiple rewards.
🐴 Horse NFT staking
This week, we officially released Horse NFT staking!
The Horse NFT Staking feature allows players to retire their horses, earning Sugar Cubes as rewards. Players can select a staking duration (1, 3, 6, or 12 months) with an optional auto-renew feature. While staked, horses are restricted from races, breeding, and marketplace activities, though they can be unstaked anytime (without reward credit if unstaked early). This feature brings added utility to Horse NFTs, meaning that every horse in a player’s stable can contribute meaningfully, even if it’s not on the track. With the Sugar Cubes earned from staking, players can boost their breeding capabilities and strengthen their stables, adding an exciting new layer to gameplay. And with more Sugar Cube utilities planned for the future, players will have even more ways to spend and benefit from their rewards.
🌉 Bridged $ZERC
$ZERC is now officially bridged to the Base network! This marks an exciting step for zkRace, expanding $ZERC’s reach and opening endless opportunities for new partnerships and events.
Additionally, $ZERC is now listed and tradable on Aerodrome, ensuring that $ZERC is available to a wider audience, opening opportunities for new players and holders.
