👑 Kings
The long-awaited Kings game is one step closer to reality! This week, we finalized the development schedule for this highly anticipated feature, setting the stage for an implementation process that will be efficient, streamlined, and as smooth as possible.
For those of you who are still unfamiliar, Kings is a monthly leaderboard competition that recognizes the best-performing horses across all tracks and distances. Bringing this feature in-house allows us to seamlessly embed the competition mechanics directly into the zkRace experience, ensuring players can engage with it consistently without relying on external tools.
While Kings is making its way to the platform, zkRacers are still organizing this epic event in December! Make sure to enter for your shot at glory and rewards. Pssst… the zkRace team will also be attending Kings, so we’ll meet ya on the track 😉
🐴 Horse NFT Staking
Another big task that our team has finished this week is integrating permanent horse NFT staking into the platform for testing, meaning you can soon stake your horses and earn Sugar Cubes forever.
For players, this means your horses are about to enjoy their golden years in style — retired from the track but still contributing value to your stable. Your horses are doing the chilling, and you’re doing all the winning. It’s a win-win situation!
Now that the integration into the test-net is complete, an action-packed weekend awaits the zkRace team as we put this feature through rigorous testing. Our team is ready to ensure that the reward calculation and payout process runs flawlessly. We can’t wait to share more updates with you as we race toward the official release!
🤖 AI integration
What if your horse’s next win was narrated live on Twitter?
That’s what we’re working on with our upcoming AI integration. We’re on our way to add a bot so that it will automatically tweet live race announcements and summaries on Twitter, so even if you blink, you won’t miss the action.
Our dev team is currently researching how to combine real-time race data with AI-generated content that sounds human, but smarter and quicker of course. This involves syncing zkRace’s back-end with tools that can instantly turn stats into engaging, tweet-sized stories.
Imagine reading about your horse’s thrilling photo finish or your friend’s “donkey” taking the slowest lap of the month (shoutout to the Slowest Racer leaderboard). AI integration will keep the zkRace community connected and might even make our Twitter account the hottest in the Web3 space.
