🏅 Leaderboards
Our team spent this week improving data collection for the Slowest Racer leaderboard.
Turns out, some of the slowest racers weren’t getting their rightful place in the spotlight due to a bug that was preventing certain race results from being recorded. Don’t worry — we have fixed the issue and synced all of this month’s results to make sure no horse is left behind.
Our team also went back and synced racing history data of the whole December to ensure every horse gets the recognition they deserve.
This update guarantees accurate leaderboards and gives you peace of mind knowing your donkeys are getting their rightful place and won’t miss out on their December Leaderboard Challenge rewards.
🐴 Horse NFT Staking
The Permanent Horse Retirement feature has been undergoing some rigorous testing on the test-net this week. Our team is focused on ensuring that once a horse is staked, it truly enters permanent retirement, with no option to un-stake or use it for other functionalities like racing or breeding.
Testing also involves verifying that rewards are correctly calculated and distributed while ensuring that retired horses are locked from any active features in the game. We’re simulating various scenarios to ensure the system handles everything seamlessly, from tracking multiple staked horses to properly disabling their access to other activities.
Soon players will be able to permanently retire their horses for Sugar Cubes rewards, knowing they’re safely locked in their golden years and still contributing value to the stable in a new way!
