🏁 Race Control Center
Big prizes, big events, and now… better controls!
We’ve updated the Race Control Center to include an option to limit the number of horses per wallet in a race. This gives us more flexibility for events with larger prize pools, ensuring a fairer distribution of entries.
Limiting the number of horses per wallet in races isn’t new for custom events and tournaments, but now it’s been made easier for the team to manage it for general races as well in the race control center. And for you, zkRacers? This means when the stakes are high, you can count on a fairer shot at those big wins!
🤖 Race API
This week’s API Enhancement makes race registrations more balanced for everyone.
Now, our system checks API registrations every 10 seconds and reshuffles entries to ensure everyone gets a fair shot. No more advantages for faster bots — every racer’s entry has an equal chance.
Whether you’re using a custom tool or manual registration, you’ll now enjoy a more level playing field. And shoutout to our amazing community for the feedback that made this update possible — your voice matters!
🏇 Jockey Silks
This week we’ve also been designing Silks NFT in-game cards for the website, complete with sleek UX/UI and action buttons to make equipping and viewing them as simple as possible. It’s all about combining form and function, because your jockeys should look great AND be easy to manage.
The design team is working on the Silks card design, ensuring it’s visually appealing. On the back-end, our devs are building out the logic to link these cards to your horses without disrupting existing gameplay features.
Soon, you’ll be able to race in style — the new Silks NFTs will let you personalize your stable and stand out on the track, so stay tuned!
