💸 Double/Triple Winnings event
Automatic payouts are coming your way!
The zkRace dev team has added the option to turn on 2x and 3x multipliers for regular races in the Race Control Center. This gives the team the ability to launch Double and Triple winnings events quickly and easily — boosts at the press of a button. Once the multiplier is turned on, payouts will be calculated and distributed automatically as soon as the race ends.
No reward delays, no extra steps, just more $ZERC in your wallet. Keep an eye out for the release of this feature–it’s right around the corner!
🥇 Leaderboards
This week we tackled a leaderboard bug that was showing incorrect data for the slowest and fastest racer categories.
Behind the scenes, this involved recalculating all race results to ensure the data is accurate and reliable moving forward. Our devs dug deep into the database, squashing the issue and future-proofing the system to avoid similar glitches down the line.
No more confusion about where you stand in the race. Whether you’re chasing the title of the fastest racer or the “donkey” award, you can trust that your efforts are reflected accurately. You can still make it to the January Leaderboard Challenge and claim your share of the 25,200 $ZERC prize pool!
🏇 Jockey Silks
This week our team has also been building the smart contract logic to enable Silks NFT minting on the Base network. This is a big step in expanding zkRace’s reach and offering players sleek new collectibles on a broader blockchain network.
Our back-end pro, Kristis, has been creating robust smart contracts that integrate seamlessly with the Base network while staying fully compatible with zkRace’s existing ecosystem. He’s also ensuring the contracts handle everything from minting to tracking ownership, all with the reliability and security you expect.
Silks are much more than a style statement, they’re set to grow the zkRace ecosystem and give players more ways to engage. Minting Silks on Base will expand customization options as well as attract new users and strengthen zkRace’s position as a leader in multi-chain Web3 gaming!
