Another week, another round of zkRace improvements! Our team has been hard at work, and we’re here to break down the latest updates. Let’s get into it! 🚀
🏆 Tournaments
Remember last week’s tournament update? Well, we heard the feedback from our community, zkRacers, and we’ve made it even better — just in time for the upcoming Unraced Gen1 Tournament, organized by zkRacers themselves!
We’ve now introduced Combined Best/Worst Time, which sums the best or worst race times across all stages.
Here’s how it works: if a stage has five races, we pick the best (or worst) time and move forward. The next stage also selects a best/worst time, which is then added to the previous total. The process continues until the final stage, where the lowest or highest cumulative time determines the winners.
This new tournament type brings a new layer of strategy to the tournaments and provides more flexibility to event organizers!
🏇 Jockey Silks NFTs
Silks are on test-net, and we’re putting them through more rounds of testing to provide more feedback to our dev team.
Right now, we’re focusing on functionality, UX, and UI to make sure Silks are easy to use and seamlessly integrated. Our goal is to ensure smooth loading, a glitch-free experience, and a polished design for every player.
When Silks go live, we want players to have a flawless experience, when interacting with the feature. More news coming soon!
🔐 EtherMail SSO integration
We’ve started integrating and testing our partner’s, EtherMail’s, SSO — a secure, wallet-based login solution that will make signing into zkRace easier and safer.
With this system, users can log in directly with their wallets, eliminating friction while maintaining top-tier security. This means players get fast, secure access to zkRace without needing multiple logins or worrying about security risks.
Our team has also been testing the integration to make sure it can go live next week so stay tuned!
