🐎 Saddles, horseshoes, bridles… oh my!
This week our game design team focused on modeling the very first of horse wearables and their prototypes are coming out nicely! 🤩
The performance boosting items will be fully gamified: they will have different tiers which will unlock only after NFT horse reaches a specific level. Different assets will provide boosts for different hidden parameters such as speed, stamina or reaction time. The performance boosting items will be also used as activity rewards to the players, so make sure to keep your horses active to get awarded!
We will shortly release more details about the performance boosting items, so keep an eye on our socials.
🧩 DeRace V2 smart contract is being audited
The main smart contract for DeRace V2 is finalized and in line for the next stage - auditing.
The new smart contract will improve the game development speed almost three times! By optimising contracts we will be saving the time spent on the development of supplementary smart contracts and bypassing any additional audits.
Also, the new contract will ensure seamless gaming experience for all DeRace players!
After the audit is done, we will proceed with integrating new contract into the platform and launching the DeRace V2 🥳
⚡️ DeRace V2 backend advancements
DeRace V2 is coming to life step-by-step!
This week we focused on transforming our current race functionalities to perform well in DeRace V2 by redoing race registration, participation, result calculation and payout functions. It takes only a few moments for your NFT horse to be registered to any race!🤯
In addition to this, we were also adjusting the core V2 features, such as wallet interactions and in-game transaction management, to ensure instantaneous outcomes and impeccable performance of the platform.

Not only are we overhauling the platform bottom-up, we are also creating a new look for DeRace, to make the player experience smoother and more thrilling. DeRace V2 will embody our vision of the future of GameFi both in terms of its performance as well as appearance.
