🏁 Extensive game mechanics
We have finalized the core game mechanics!
Experience points, horse levels, NFT horse equipment, chests & keys, achievements & missions, in-game reward system — all of these features makes DeRace gameplay even more thrilling and rewarding.
To put it simple: experience points increase the horse level. Horses with a higher level can use a wider range of equipment to boost their performance. Chests have various horse equipment items inside. Keys and chests are rewarded to the players for various in-game activities like reaching achievements or completing missions…
We will release additional articles explaining the game mechanics in depth before we launch DeRace V2, so that all players can familiarize themselves with it.

NFT horse equipment 🐎
This week our team has finalized the designs of horse wearables. Now each of the items have a different color and pattern combination which complements its style!
To make horse equipment look even more authentic our game designers have added condition grade to all of the items. Like in the real world, some of the equipment will be in mint condition while some will have a bit of wear and tear.

🗝 Chests and keys
All is falling into place for DeRace Engage2Earn!
This week the team has finalized the underlying logic of in-game rewards’ mechanics. Therefore, our game designers have already started working on the chests and keys concepts.
Players will have to collect a matching set of chests and keys to unlock them and obtain the reward — NFT horse equipment — which is hidden inside.
There will be 5 different designs for keys and chests according to their tier. The higher the tier, the higher the chance to draw a rare item!
We promise to share a sneak peek into the creation process, just don’t tell the game designers 🤫
DeRace V2: breeding upgrade 💕
This week we have finalized the V2 version of NFT horse breeding!
The breeding process is now working seamlessly in the test-net environment. We are starting the internal testing of both breeding and race participation today. It won’t be long for them to be launch-ready!
To make the breeding process in V2 even more efficient we have also updated the logic and UI/UX of the rent-for-breeding feature.
Now all the NFT horses which are available for breeding will have a designated page. Players will be able to see the rental price straight away, and filter the horses not only by their parameters but also according to their rental price!
The new features will make the breeding process in DeRace V2 not only smooth but also extremely efficient. Breeding the ultimate champion was never this easy!
