🏇 Introducing: NFT Jockeys
Every horse needs a rider and DeRace NFT horses are not an exception to this rule: we have started working on the much anticipated Jockey NFTs.
Our game designers have already created the initial concept for Jockey NFTs and will spend the upcoming weeks making them even more realistic. We will build on the current concept to make our Jockeys even more realistic and unique: include additional features, style their silks, animate them and integrate Jockeys with NFT horses for the seamless on-track performance.

🏁 New hippodrome is in the works
Brace yourself for even more amazing news: we have also begun creating brand new hippodromes!
The upcoming hippodrome will be very unique in its design and aesthetics which will be completely different from the current ones.
At present time, our team is working on creating the concept art for the brand new hippodrome and we cannot wait to show it off to our community!

🍬 Sweet sweet rewards…
Another big task that our team has finished this week is merging the Sugar Cube exchange mechanics with its UX/UI and integrating it all into the platform for testing.
Sugar Cubes are exchangeable into the NFT Chests and Keys. It means that players are able to directly get NFT horse equipment after unlocking Chests.
The Sugar Cube exchange closes the loop of in-game reward mechanics. With our brand new sustainable P2E model, players get rewarded for their activity on the platform — not only the performance of their NFT horse — with Sugar Cubes.
Sugar Cubes are exchanged into NFT Chests and Keys which hold NFT horse equipment inside. Once equipment is acquired, players can use it to improve their gameplay, trade it on secondary markets or — in case of the unwanted item — use the NFT burning mechanism to get Sugar Cubes. And so, the loop restarts once again.
As the integration into the test-net has finished, it looks like an exciting weekend awaits for the DeRace team. We are so ready to test the complete reward mechanics! 😋
