Another busy week has passed in a blur. Let’s check what the DeRace team has been up to so far!
🌸 Sakura Path hippodrome
We are finalising the very last bits and pieces of our upcoming hippodrome!
The DeRace game design team has been concentrating on finalising the hippodrome environment which includes the surroundings and the lighting.
Sakura Path hippodrome is characterised by the pink blooming cherry trees and the early morning atmosphere, just before the sunrise. To make the hippodrome as realistic as possible our game designers have customised sky colours along with the complete hippodrome lighting and have already started optimising it.

Our game designers have finalised the Sakura Path grandstand design and will start bringing it into the hippodrome shortly! 🤩
🏆 Tournaments
The most anticipated feature of DeRace: TOURNAMENTS ARE COMING TO LIFE!
As we have finalised the tournament structure, we started designing its UX/UI as well as working on the back-end side of it.
Hippodrome managers will get to enjoy smooth and easy tournament creation tool which will allow them to create custom racing events. They will be able to choose who can participate in the tournament through the invite-only mechanism and the chosen players will receive notifications to join the event.
Players will need to register ONLY once for the tournament by paying the entry fee, as all the sequential races will happen automatically. All horse owners and spectators can watch the qualifier races and the final event live, as well as its recording afterwards.
📬 New platform feature: notifications
After finishing the invite-only races, our development team has moved on to building additional platform features which will make our ecosystem even more immersive!
One of them is the complete player notification system.
In the very near future players will receive invites to custom races or tournaments, will get notified about the unlocked achievements and completed missions.

Our developers have just finished optimising the in-game wallet management module, ran a regular system maintenance and made a few other small but impactful changes in our ecosystem to enhance player experience.
