Another Friday, another DeRace development update!
This week the DeRace team has launched the newest synthetic hippodrome, upgraded the API, completed Billboard Manager in HMS and got ready to release an improved Spin-The-Wheel feature among other things.

🎁 Spin-The-Wheel improvements
The exciting DeRace Spin-The-Wheel feature is getting a huge upgrade!
Very shortly players will be able to easily track how many spins they have been rewarded for their in-game activities such as unlocking various horse achievements or acquired through any other way.
To find all the spins that are available players have to head straight to “My Stables”, choose the “Spins” section and get ready to spin it!
Wheels have different rarity and higher rarity wheels can be acquired by reaching more difficult milestones. So make sure to check which NFT horse achievements unlock what wheel and get racing!😉
🏟 Billboard manager completed
Among other achievements this week, the DeRace team has also expanded the Hippodrome Management System to include a fully functioning Billboard Manager.
Currently the access to the Billboard Manager is limited to the DeRace team only, however in the near future the Hippodrome managers get to choose and upload the various billboards in their owned hippodromes themselves. It opens up a number of opportunities for sponsored races, tournaments and other activities.
The Billboard Manager is created to simplify the upload of different banners within the DeRace hippodromes. With just a few clicks, hippodrome managers can create a billboard album for their hippodrome. Once it’s done, they can choose which banners to put into their hippodrome.
It’s up to the hippodrome managers whether they want to have only 1 type of the banners in their hippodromes or choose a specific banner rotation as both options are possible.
🛠 API updates
Not only have we improved a number of in-game features such as Hippodrome Management System & Spin-The-Wheel but we have updated the API too!
The new and updated rate-limiting package improves the API request & response consistency thus making the DeRace API 1.0 even more efficient for our builders’ community.

☃️ Nordic Lights hippodrome live
This week has marked another huge milestone for the DeRace team: the launch of our second hippodrome with a synthetic surface!
Our brand new, Nordic Lights hippodrome sports a synthetic track which generates races between 9 to 15 furlongs and is a second hippodrome with a synthetic surface. As of now, Paradise Hills hippodrome generates shorter races: from 2 to 8 furlongs.
So saddle up your NFT horses and make sure to try out the newest furlongs on the Nordic Lights hippodrome. Racing in this wintery hippodrome will also help you to get into the holiday mode too 🎄
