It’s Friday again and you know what it means: it’s time for the weekly DeRace development update!
So without further ado, let’s dive into the latest accomplishments made by the DeRace team 🤩
🐎 Horse rental
One of the most-awaited features of this quarter, horse rental, is on its way to the DeRace ecosystem!
This week the DeRace team has been finalizing the visual design and building the base back-end logic for the upcoming horse renting feature.
We have already created the preliminary working UX & UI design for the horse rental feature and are currently building the back-end logic for it. Very soon players get to rent their horses for racing by choosing the rental fee, the renting period and even typing a short note to other players about the preferred surface & track.
Just a few more weeks & you will get to enjoy this exciting feature!
🏁 Level races
Races with equipment are getting a HUGE upgrade!
Improved equipment races are launching next week on Monday where players get to join equipment races according to their horse level.
Currently there are going to be 3 level requirement brackets which makes equipment races more accessible for different players: 1–25, 26–50, 51–80 as well as equipment races which are open for all level horses. We will adjust the supply of the number of level races according to the players’ demand.
The upcoming level requirement is bringing even more thrill & competition into the game and also motivating a number of new players to join the equipment races as well.
⚡️ Race viewer improvements
Among other things the DeRace game design team has been working on upgrading the race viewer.
Our team is updating all the race viewer elements to fit better with our newest platform design.
We are also working on a solution to integrate a mechanism into the DeRace platform which would allow us to assign different soundtracks to the different hippodromes. It would create a new level of authenticity for each hippodrome and more excitement for the players too!
🏟 Hippodrome concept
This week we have finalised the concept for one of our upcoming hippodromes with the turf surface. Next week we will begin designing the main elements of the hippodrome environment and we will share them very shortly with you!
At the same time, we are also building a new hippodrome with a dirt surface, which design is being kept secret for now but we will reveal it very shortly, so make sure to check our socials to catch the first glimpse of it😉
