Another week has come to an end with the DeRace team successfully achieving a number of key milestones throughout it.
Our focus has been on completing the horse rental mechanics, starting work on the in-game marketplace, beginning development of the Jockey generator, and finalizing the terrain for an upcoming hippodrome.

🐎 Horse Rental
The DeRace team has made significant progress this week with the completion of the horse renting mechanics. This exciting new feature is now integrated into the test-net and is undergoing thorough testing to ensure a seamless and optimal user experience.
Our team is working hard to make the final adjustments necessary to bring this feature to life, and soon our community will be able to rent out their horses and earn $DERC tokens while doing it.
This new feature opens up a whole new level of gameplay, and we can’t wait for you to get your hands on it. Our goal is to make DeRace the most immersive and engaging horse racing experience out there, and this is a major step in that direction. Stay tuned for further updates!
🛒 In-game Marketplace
This week, the DeRace team has made great strides in the development of the in-game marketplace. This exciting new feature will allow players to buy, sell, and trade a variety of NFT assets within the platform.
Our team has been working hard to create a preliminary user-friendly and intuitive design for the marketplace and has now finalised its functionality and logic. Players can soon look forward to acquiring and selling NFTs with ease, creating a thriving virtual economy within the DeRace world.
🏇 DeRace Jockeys
Great news for all the Jockey fans: we’re making significant progress towards the launch of the Jockey NFTs!
This week our development team has begun building a fully functioning Jockey generator which will generate various NFT Jockeys with different looks and other properties.
This exciting addition brings us one step closer to launching Jockey NFTs and incorporating additional game mechanics to enhance the overall gameplay experience. With the integration of this feature, players can expect a more realistic racing experience on the DeRace platform.
🏟 Hippodrome Updates
This week our game designers have continued their work on a new hippodrome for players to enjoy.
They have successfully completed the terrain model and have begun constructing the grandstand, which is one of the main off-track structures. The team is fully focused on this task and is already making a good progress.
Next week, we will be working hard to finish the 3D grandstand, adding the final touches to this important part of the hippodrome. We are also focusing on completing other key elements of the hippodrome, so that players can experience the thrill of horse racing in the most realistic way possible.
