🕺 NFT Jockeys
This week, the DeRace team has made significant strides in the development of our upcoming Jockey feature. Our team has enabled deposit and withdrawal functions on the test-net, and have also created a fully functioning Jockey generator for generic Jockey NFTs.
We are now focusing on integrating the back-end logic for the in-game mechanics, which will be a major milestone in the development of this exciting new feature. We are excited to bring Jockeys to our players and to continue expanding and enhancing the DeRace ecosystem.
🐎 Horse rental feature updates
NFT horses cannot wait to be rented out and hit the tracks!
Our team has been hard at work this week improving the horse rental feature. We have been meticulously testing and fixing minor bugs in the rental mechanics to ensure the feature is user-friendly and seamless.
Over the next few weeks, our team will continue to conduct further testing to fine-tune the feature and make sure it provides the best possible experience for the players. Stay tuned for more updates on this exciting new feature!
🛍 In-game marketplace
This week, our developer team has made significant progress on the upcoming in-game marketplace by finalising the underlying back-end logic. They have completed crucial aspects such as the seamless $DERC transactions when buying/selling assets, instantaneous transfers of the NFT from the previous owner to the new one, mechanics of listing an item among others.
These functionalities will enable smooth and secure trading for the players. Although there are still a few tasks left, we are steadily moving forward towards launching the marketplace!
🏰 Upcoming DeRace hippodrome
Our game designers have accomplished an important milestone in the development of the upcoming hippodrome. They have completed building all the necessary hippodrome elements, and are currently focused on placing them within the fully functioning hippodrome.
With this significant development, we are excited to move forward with adjusting the sky, horizon, general lighting, and other aspects that make the hippodrome have a more wholesome look. Stay tuned for more updates shortly as we move closer to our launch.
