Another busy week has passed by in a blur and now it’s time for the brand new DeRace development update.

🏆 Horse Achievements
Achievement tracking has never been easier!
Our latest update to the horse achievement feature addresses a common request from our community on Discord. Many players were looking for an easier way to track their progress towards achievements, particularly those related to finishing first, second, or third on each surface.
We listened to this feedback and have implemented a solution that allows players to see which tasks they have already completed, and which ones they still need to unlock the achievement.
This improvement not only makes it easier for players to track their progress towards these achievements, but also provide them with a sense of accomplishment as they work towards completing them. We hope this update will enhance the overall gaming experience for our players and encourage them to continue striving towards new achievements.
🐎 Generation races
Horse generation requirement is added into the system and it’s already live on the platform.
The addition of horse generation requirement to the DeRace platform is a significant milestone that opens up new possibilities for targeted events. With this feature, we can now create races and events that are specific to certain horse generations, giving players more opportunities to showcase their horses and compete against others of the same generation.
One such event is the Ancestral Fortune Races, which are exclusive to Gen0 horses and will be starting next week. All Gen0 NFT horses that reach the final race in this event get rewarded. 🕺 Jockey Silks
Our game designers have been working tirelessly on the DeRace Jockey Silks generator, and we are happy to announce that it is now in the test-net.
We are thrilled with how it’s shaping up so far, and the possibilities it opens up for our players. This week, we began trialing the generator, and it looks amazing. We’ve been testing different combinations for the Silks and even uploaded various images onto them.
Next week, we will share some exciting designs with you, so stay tuned!
🏇 Jockey Mechanics
Our team has been working hard this week to continue testing out various aspects of the Jockey Mechanics.
Among the mainly tested out mechanics is the bonding feature between DeRace Jockeys and their respective horses. This mechanic is crucial for the overall gameplay experience, as it allows players to develop a unique connection with their horses and Jockeys.
We are excited to see the positive impact that this feature will have on the DeRace metaverse, and we can’t wait for our players to experience it firsthand.
