Another week has come to an end with the DeRace team continuing the development process to bring new features into the ecosystem in order to elevate the gaming experience.

🏁 Custom Race Generator
During this week, the DeRace team has been dedicated to enhancing the Custom Race Generator, focusing on improving its user-friendliness for hippodrome managers.
We have already implemented various updates to make it more intuitive for the hippodrome managers. The team is also working on additional improvements to allow for a specific registration time, offering more flexibility in race scheduling.
Additionally, we are working on incorporating other features to streamline the process of creating custom races and events, making it even more convenient for hippodrome owners.
These improvements aim to provide a smoother and more enjoyable experience when customizing races within the DeRace platform.
🏟 Community owned hippodromes
This week marks a significant milestone as we have successfully finalised the Treasury element for our Community-Owned Hippodromes.
With this feature now complete, we are eagerly preparing to move it to the test-net next week for thorough testing and optimization.
The Treasury brings exciting possibilities for hippodrome managers to create high-level racing events with enhanced prize pools beyond just the entry fees. It opens the door to next-generation racing experiences and enables the collection of additional DERC tokens to fund the thrilling finals of these events.

🏇 Race streaming
This week we have also made significant advances with race streaming integration into our platform.
Our dedicated team of game designers has just provided us with a preliminary build fix that promises to address the challenges we encountered when trialing the initial solution for uninterrupted race streaming. We’re thrilled to dive into this new development and explore its potential impact on our existing back-end infrastructure.
The upcoming week will be filled with extensive testing and fine-tuning to ensure a seamless experience for the players.
🏆 Challenge Races
Among other things, this week our dedicated team has been working on finalising the visual improvements for the Challenge Race feature.
We have to adjust the race viewer a little bit to ensure the smooth transition from the regular 12-horse-races to the 1-on-1 Challenge Races. As only 2 horses are running the track we are exploring different ways to make the Challenge Races look more balanced and make the challengers the center of attention on the racetrack.
We are expected to complete this aspect of the Challenge Races during the upcoming week.
