We decided to make Fridays a special day where we would share the platform updates with our DeRace family through the article series called Friday Development Updates.
This Friday we’re excited to share with you the main DeRace platform updates from our game development team.
This week our game design team was focusing on improving the 3D horse model to work even better with animation, and optimizing its UV maps to use as little texture space as possible. They were researching and creating variations for tails, manes, patterns and other features that different horses would have. Also the team programmed the base of the 3D horse viewer and its communication with the back-end.
DeRace’s game development team during this week has created a horse breeding generator and finalised NFT horse parameter database structure. They have programmed UX for in-game NFT shop and the browser for horses too.
