Another busy week has passed by in a blur and now it’s time for the brand new DeRace development update.
So let’s dive into the accomplishments made by the DeRace team so far!🤿
🛍 In-game marketplace
Our team has reached an important milestone in the development of the upcoming marketplace feature.
This week, we successfully coded the option to remove assets from the marketplace, making it even easier for players to manage their in-game NFTs.
With just a few simple clicks, players will be able to delist an asset from the marketplace and use it for their own purposes. We’re now just a few steps away from completing the marketplace feature, with only a few more aspects left to complete before testing and additional fine-tuning can begin.
🏇 My stables
Our team has been working hard this week to enhance the equipment filtering mechanism in the “My Stables” section of the platform.
With a focus on efficiency and faster loading times, we have designed a new method that is more streamlined and puts less load on our database.
The updated filtering feature provides players with an easier way to search for specific assets and allows them to find what they are looking for quickly. These new mechanics have already been implemented in the test-net and will be available on the live platform very soon.
👷 Code efficiency improvements
Among other things our developers have also been focusing on increasing the code efficiency in order to prepare for the release of Q1 features.
By merging the back-end logic of all features in one place, it ensures that NFT Jockeys, in-game marketplace, horse rental, and other features do not clash with each other once they go live.
The team has been going over all the features in the test-net step-by-step and systematically merging them. Once ready, this will enable the successful launch of all the features together, with all of them functioning properly without any conflicts.
🕺 DeRace Jockey Silks
During this week, our game design team completed the basic Jockey Silk generator, which now generates the images of the Jockey model with general Silks from various sides.
It offers a complete view of the Silks, which is beneficial for displaying limited edition Silk NFTs with partner logos or other possible collaborative pieces.
The next step is to enhance the Silk generator images to be displayed even better with a fitting background, followed by focusing on the enhanced silk generator, which allows inputting various requirements for silks, such as color, patterns, and much more 😉
