Meet Storm — our first NFT horse!
We are very excited to introduce you to our first NFT horse — Storm. Storm is a pureblood thoroughbred mare that was inspired by a real-life racehorse.
Thoroughbred is a horse breed best known for its use in horse racing. Thoroughbreds are considered “hot-blooded” horses that are known for their agility, speed, and spirit. That’s exactly what Storm is — “hot-blooded” and very fast.
Although the word thoroughbred is sometimes used to refer to any breed of purebred horse, don’t be mistaken, we refer to the thoroughbred breed.
DeRace NFT horses
Like real-life racehorses, DeRace NFT horses have distinctive characteristics that define their rarity, performance, cool-down time, and finally, value. And of course, they are 100% one of the kind.
Every NFT horse has a set of visible and hidden characteristics:
- Visible: sex, appearance, rarity, cool-down time
- Hidden: speed and stamina
Horse appearance
All NFT horses differ in their appearance. Horses will have different fur colors and patterns, hair color and length, eye color and shape, posture and body type, and many more.
Each DeRace NFT horse will be one of a kind.
Performance on the track
Speed and stamina are the key factors in winning the races. and the only will be speculated based on appearance, bloodline (parental genetics), and previous race statistics.
Also, conditioning will be applied and will highly influence the horse's performance on the race track.
Horse levels
The NFT horses will have a level system. The level will depend on the races participated, races won, and overall activity on the platform. Higher the level, the higher the price. The horses can compete in hippodromes with same-level horses.
