Today, we’re taking a significant leap forward by enhancing the functionality of Sugar Cubes, offering our players more control and strategic depth in their gameplay.

Sugar Cubes, introduced to build a sustainable player earning mechanic, have taken an important role within the DeRace economy. Earned by completing missions in the DeRace metaverse, these rewards were designed to incentivize players’ engagement and dedication. From rewarding player participation to balancing the in-game economy, Sugar Cubes are playing a pivotal role in enriching the DeRace experience.

We’re taking Sugar Cubes a step further. Players can now use the Sugar Cubes collected from their adventures and achievements to decrease the breeding cool-down for their NFT horses. This enhancement not only adds another layer of utility to Sugar Cubes but also empowers our community members to strategize and manage their stables more effectively.

The introduction of Sugar Cubes as a tool to reduce breeding cool-downs marks a pivotal shift in gameplay strategy. In alignment with our commitment to a balanced game economy, the cost to decrease breeding cool-downs with Sugar Cubes is dynamic, increasing with each day the cool-down is shortened. This model ensures that strategic value is placed on the timing and utilization of Sugar Cubes, encouraging players to carefully consider their breeding plans.

Breeding Cool-down Decrease: How to

To start using your Sugar Cubes for breeding cool-down reduction, first head to your stables and choose the NFT horse which is currently on breeding cool-down (you can also do it via the NFT horse page once they are on cooldown).

Press the “Reduce cooldown” button to proceed. Choose how many days you want to reduce from the breeding cool-down. The Sugar Cube price depends on how many days you want to reduce and increases significantly as the “number of days to reduce” gets higher.

Once you have chosen how many days you want to reduce the cool-down, press the “Reduce” button. Do not close the window that pops-up while the request is being verified as it may result in a failed operation.
